Porn Stars doing Pay Sites?

I have now been approached a few times by "retired" very well know Porn Stars that have released numerous full-length adult movies asking to do work for the site. All of our models to date are straight and first time doing adult work. (with a couple of exceptions).

Will it hurt or help the site to use a professional porn star?

Since I am promoting your site for several weeks now and as much as I could understand (regarding concept of it) I would stay away from it...

a.) Your site is all about; Straight Hot Southern Boys, College Guys and Frat Men - I can not fit a concept of well known, retired porn star into this

b.) Using and reusing same WELL known pornstars for amateur sites, straight sites, boyish sites is becoming ridiculous

c.) New and fresh talents (especially those that you find to drive sales to your site and reuse them several times on your site before they flood the net) will make your site more recognizable among others

d.) another aspect is that if they are well known and have done tons of videos their price is also very high (one would assume), so it is better to get two new faces for the price of one old and oversatured face

So in a nutshell... just do not use them!

While it has been tempting, I agree with your points. I just want to make sure that I am not missing something. Most of all I don't want to stray to far away from what has got the site moving in the first place.

btw. Thank you for promoting the site. You will be pleased to know that we are putting the final touches on a new design which should be ready to launch early next month.

I agree, I've seen so many porn stars being passed off as amateurs and straight guys and it's just ridiculous. I think some surfers are going to feel pissed off that they were duped by sites who do this. Stick with the amateur guys, it's what gives your site the appeal.

We use some gay porn stars on Butch Dixon, but we've never passed ourselves off as an amateur site. We offer hot, masculine men. So I have no problems offering a few porn stars, but we also really like bringing the surfers men they haven't seen before.

i wouldn't use them on an amateur site, either. maybe you could start a second site with them - it seems a shame to turn away perfectly good pornstars ;)
