These guys have tons of stolen content on their site, and not just showing it but making it available for download. So they are literally giving our content to their members. And CCBill is processing for them. What's that all about?

Im not sticking my details in there. Is it obvious that its stolen?

Have you reported it to CCBill? If you have, I would hope that would cut them loose pretty quick.

I would assume a 20 minute video beginning with a company logo is not being put up there for free on a pirate blog. The ten Randy Blue videos that we certainly did not give them weren't.

And yes, CCBill has been notified. It just bugs me that when this kind of thing happens we have to do all the work in getting our stuff taken down when billing and hosting companies can't have someone on hand to take a look at the sites to see if there is a chance they might be using their services for illegal purposes. Why can't these sites be made to prove they own the copyrights to the videos they host rather than making us have to prove the stuff is ours? I mean, what if people got caught for shoplifting or banks got robbed and when the police showed up the store owners and banks had to go into records and receipts to prove that the merchandise and money really did belong to them? And while those records were being researched and the proof being called into question the criminal got to get away with it, use the merchandise and spend the money until such time as they were finally penalized?

I agree with you, as I said, I didnt put my details in so I didnt see what content you were talking about.

I do wonder if reviewers at processors actually view any videos. Surely they would see it. If they do, thats disgraceful and frankly, biting the hand that feeds them. If they dont, thats really as bad as what are they actually reviewing??

We were alerted to this site earlier today and are investigating. Please post back here on CCBill's reply... I'll happily wade in if need be!

I was told they legally can't do anything until they receive a DMCA notice.

I was alerted about this site yesterday, but I could only find a two-minute Butch Dixon preview video.

I'll have to take another look.

Because of the DMCA copyright law. As much as it's a pain to send the DMCAs, it is a good law that helps us if we use it properly. Yes, it's a royal pain in the ass. I agree.

If I have my facts straight BigDickClub.tv is one of the ones Titan has a lawsuit pending against. The funny part is how BigDickClub.tv and BigDickClub.us are bickering. It's a little confusing, but it appears Big Dick Club used to be a ning site, then when ning shutdown the data (member list, etc.) got in the hands of two people. the .tv site is run by a gay guy, the .us site is run by a straight guy. You should see the e-mails to members saying nasty things about each other. I just laugh given the fact that it's like they're fighting over the right to be sued... But it is what it is...

This is what I've said and felt before. It always seems that the one who has done nothing wrong is the one who get penalized. Whenever I have had to deal with anything related to copyright theft its always been a lot of work, people and companies who never respond which includes hosting companies.

It would have been easier if there had been some joint organisation funded by a large amount of producers / paysites (or who ever felt they should participate) which then easily could afford someone dealing with these isseus on full time (for their paying members).

This is such a great idea, I wish someone trustworthy and respectable would come along and provide such a service. I would happily pay a reasonable membership fee if it meant I could have an organization that could not only take care of our copyright issues, but fighting on the behalf of all of us to help combat piracy in the industry.
