So anyone go out and celebrate, or get any special pampering today from your 'significant other' or just another working day?
All I got was a wet kiss this morning, a quick grope, then some rock candy, which he proceeded to eat. :grrr:

it was our tenth valentine's day together. and we spent the day holding hands and being romantic. when i got up, he had a card for me and we had gotten each other gifts - i got him a programmable drum machine and he got me a vdrum module. we picked them up from our mail place after spending a couple hours at guitar center and sam ash. since we had to take our goodies home, we ordered thai food and enjoyed a neil gaiman video and we're going to dinner tomorrow night :)

I got a rose and a card containing naughty coupons. I went to bed and he went out to play pool.
Ain't love grand!

P.S. It is actually, we just celebrated our 14th anniversary on January 31 and I'm up at 5 a.m., so my bed is early. And Ted does this thing that when he's out, if he hears an ABBA song, he has a buy a rose from the flower lady who comes through the bars. So I get a couple of roses a week.

Does EVERY city have a Roses lady coming through the bars? It's a common occurance in LA bars....

I made my traditional lobster benedict - its not very "heart friendly" so we went to the gym for a long and hard training session and to get some more much needed cardio
then we went for a very romantic and late lunch (along with ten million others) at our favorite ocean side restaurant for some healthier sea food
then home for a quick fuck and a very long soak in the mineral hot tub - (it was finally sunny and beautiful out under the sycamores)
then more fucking and some take-out chinese - then, in a typical "top like" manner, I fell asleep in front of the tv...
and now its back to reality - recreating all of that on video...

sweetie... I think one of your favorite moments over the Valentine's Holiday Weekend was the WonTon soup? Right? Remember? At home before I passed out?

It's not Valentines Day ~ it's VD aka "Remember Your Single" day
I chaperoned my son and his girlfriend doing various things while taking scatter brained calls from the girlfriends mother throughout the night

I spent the day playing with plaster and a few other art projects, accompanied by a great deal of spiked coffee.

This was the first year in a long while where I did get to celebrate VD with my special guy. Things were a bit sweeter this time around. We went for a long walk in the park, had Chinese for lunch, then rented some movies and snuggled up. Plenty of sex before, during, and after all made for some needed down-time.
Since both of us are really just big kids (age 34/32), we still enjoy playful things like board games, puzzles, and cards. Throw in some drinking rules and you got a fun date night at home on any weekend! It's nice to afford those cool toys and games we never could as a kid too. I highly recommend getting back to some old-school stuff we often overlook!
