It's running on wordpress and was on auto pilot supplied by RSS feeds.
So I decided to change that and do one post update and one video clip update every day, and loose all but one of the RSS feeds.
Having a go at making collages also instead of just having galleries. Also writing the text myself due to the fact that the text supplied if any is normally just crap in this niche. I don't claim to be any sort of writer but I figure just writing what I think instead of using the same old boring descriptions has to be a slight improvement. (with the exception of that last post I used the descriptive text in addition to my own as it was good)

I know the majority of sites on the "share" button will not allow porn, and a mate is in the process of putting me a list together of the ones that do so I can change that.

Opinions and suggestions needed please guys.. I know it's not a gay site but some of the best advice I have read anywhere has been on this forum so I figure this is the best place to ask.

Thanks.

Others will give you much better advice than me, but ill try anyway.

Ive been told that collages do sell better, and since changing to that, ive made more. But I used to have a site that was "news" style and i changed it to "blog" style, and make more sale than i did before.

My theory is that people scroll down and something catches their eye.

By blog style i mean show the collage on the main page. For me that worked better.

You have a nice blog, not my thing (trannies), but its nice :)

Couple of things I noticed, is there is no easy way to get back to the home page. Some form of breacrumb navigation can solve that issue.

Personal taste is to try and have a footer with it as well, speciall if using collages in the post, but not on the home page.

The 'see more' link should be somehow more obvious to me, that it is a link. By that I mean when I moused over, it didn't act like most links do, in showing it was clickable.

Didn't see a word cloud or tag cloud either. For me they seem to get clicks, which is why I try to have them on the post pages, and at the bottom. A way simply to keep them on the site if what they have seen, hasn't piqued their interests.

just my quick impressions.

marcjacob: Thanks, That is something I think I will try then with a couple of posts in the near future and see what happens.

Gaystoryman: Thanks, by "footer" do you mean like a sponsor banner or text link or something at the bottom of the collage itself? (not quite following you here, I know what a footer is of course but..)

The tag clouds appear at the bottom of the actual post pages, and looking at the stats yes people do use them your right... It might be an idea to put them in place of that <iframe> in the green box.. But problem with having them on the home page is my keywords go way above 5% regularly.

The "see more" link does have a mouseover in the form of a subtle 1px border, but your right it is not very noticeable unless you know its there, a color change I guess will fix that.

The "TrannyGirlz" title is linked to the home page, but yes again your right it is not obvious I think then the solution would be to place a link back to the home page in the << Previous Entry Next Entry >> navigation that appears soon as you, well navigate away from home page.

Thanks for the pointers so far guys it's much appreciated.

Sometimes, it is nice to have at the bottom of the page, a breadcrumb or some form of navigation back to the home page.

If you are using wordpress, try one of the breacrumb plugins, that will automatically insert a navigation link where you want it. Can be placed at both top and bottom, so there is always a trail back to the home page.

Ah right now I'm with you, see what you mean it's a pain to have to scroll back to the top just to navigate since the posts are pretty damn big.. I will just script in an extra nav bar at the bottom then and add in a home link also to both top and bottom nav.

I am using wordpress but have extensively modified the internal workings of the template so any navigation plugin would produce some unexpected results I would well imagine.

Thanks.

You might want to look into this plugin, as you can add directly to the theme template, Breadcrumb XT (http://mtekk.weblogs.us/code/breadcrumb-navxt/)
