Just found out or noticed today that AlleyBucks been aquired by IntenseCash. Which is ok, Intensecash is a good program.

But I think its very bad that the old owner (or new) have not sent out any information or even a statment to current affiliates.

I do think its a program owners responsibility to keep any affiliates informed about any such MAJOR changes.

I have no idea when it happened but for many people its a big thing to get all codes updated and changed and need to be told in advance.

I'm hoping its just a "delay" in communications to affiliates..

i believe this only happened yesterday, although i could be wrong. i expect that intensecash will send out an email later today.

i do admit that i always wish programs that change to cascading would keep the old links active for people who don't have the time or opportunity to change them, or who have the links posted on galleries and can't change them without having all their galleries deleted.

2257 and WHOIS data has shown BluMedia for a while, I remember someone mentioning it at least a month or two ago.

Perhaps it was a structured deal that just became final in last few days.

I'm glad to see a strong, well managed program like IntenseCash pick it up.

I agree, they should mirror the tour and keep the old verion up. I get sales from sites I built ages ago, that still get dribbles of traffic and the odd sale here and there. But I couldnt even begin to go through everyone and change links. Thats crazy.

I heard that NATS could import CCBill links anyway, in which case no one should have to change anything.

Im guessing CCBill will be one of the processors in the cascade, and space on a server costs noting. So for the love, mirror the tour and keep the CCBill only version up. Costs next to nothing and will save annoying a whole chunk of affiliates :bang::bang::bang:

FWIW, it's nearly seamless to go from CCBill to NATS. The only problem is that some CCBill sponsors don't tick the box that provides their signup information to the sponsor, in which case the sponsor gets the most basic info, but not enough to actually pay the affiliate, and sometimes not even contact information.

We've had that issue with several of our old CCBill affiliates and had to do some detective work to track them down and pay them.

They've stated on their board that the new links are available when you login to IntenseCash. However, I don't see them.

I posted an hour ago on their board and sent an Email. Just waiting for an update/response.

and if you are not a 'member' or 'affiliate' of intense cash you just shit out of luck?

I will vent here for a second.

To me, this is not only inconvenient, but smacks of something else. I've never made a sale for AlleyBucks, so frankly it isn't going to mean diddly for me, but I will take the weekend off to eliminate every trace of the program.

My business model isn't about sales from sponsors, and it has worked out nicely for me too, but it irks me to no end to be blindsided by these kind of changes, and in my mind shows a lack of consideration or care for those who have supported the program, as well as the new program owners.:grrr:

I found the links actually. Its marked as something different and pay per singup only, something about preview setup.. Last option in the drop down box.

That's weird. I don't have that option:

The site preview option is only there if Mark has added it to your account. Its when he posts about new sites asking if you want to test it, and you say yes, he then ads it.

Here is a question, what about those who used the free content to use on TGP's? Most dont let you go back to change links or anything, so who gets the money those galleries generate?

OK thanks. It sure would have been nice if they'd communicate this.

The way they're handling this is surprising actually. They've always been near the top of my list of respected programs.

from intensecash today:

"Just a brief note to all current AlleyBucks affiliates to let you know that the program has been officially acquired by IntenseCash!

More detailed information will be sent out shortly by IntenseCash, so if you're not already an affiliate there, be sure to go sign up now to receive thorough information about this exciting development in the Gay Adult Industry!"

doesn't mention if/when you must change your alleybucks links by.

Mark from IntenseCash has taken care of me.

Apparently it's the affiliates responsibility to read posts at their webmaster board and ask to be given access to new links. Seems a little backwards to me. Kind of impossible to read every post every day on every board...

In any case, I'm happy now.

Strange, I didnt ask for it or visited the board..

I do wonder why they added that note on the CCbill email about the No1 industry board.. ;)

Even stranger, I got the GMS sneak preview thing and Ive asked for my GMS account to be deleted. Im guessing they must have added it for all webmasters.

There lies the problem with board owners running boards and only giving sneak peaks to members of the board. Many of us were driven away from that board. Almost makes me not want to market the site for that reason.

The #1 industry board? What industry? They've got to be kidding, that's incredibly arrogant.

I couldn't agree more. While their sponsor program has my respect, I can't say the same for their board.

I never liked it. Even before Intense took it over. I only go there if there is something important to discuss or review.

This may be petty but if nothing else it has to be the ugliest board to navigate, visually that is... Just my opinion.

I've never been one to be on the boards much but I really like what Gay Demon is doing here.

This was just announced yesterday and the email went out to all current affiliates last night. Old link codes still worked and are being tracked. There is no deadline to change link codes. Just like when I moved from MPA to Nats years ago the old link codes are still working today. I will never pull the old link codes because I am not that type of person or program. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me at mark(at)intensecash.com.

Thanks,
Mark

Ofcoarse you could just email me and be added to the sneak peak program. I even let MarcJacob do it so that should tell you a lot right there.

mark, i wasn't trying to slam you. the reason i thought that the links had to be changed was the first line from your post on GMS:

"As for AlleyBucks affiliates you will need to change your link codes. All link codes are in IntenseCash just grab your link codes under Sneak Peak GMS Preview. We will have all new tours up for all of the sites shortly. Boyalley.com has already been finished. There is banners and hosted galleries coming shortly. GMS users get a head start from all the other affilaites. If you aren't part of the Sneak Peak GMS Preview then pm me your IntenseCash username so I can set you up. If you have any questions or concerns let me know.."

glad to hear that the links won't have to changed :)
