Not sure if it is me, but when I click on the two sponsor banners up top, I get a blank page in firefox 2.0.12. Haven't tried with IE

I get this on the url bar in the blank page

http://www.gaydemonads.com/www/delivery/ck.php?n=ac0f1740&cb=24812132

and on the other I get

http://www.gaydemonads.com/www/delivery/ck.php?n=ac0f1740&cb=24812132

if any of that means anything.

Oh, center banner as well gets me a blank page

GSM,

You also had an issue at one time with the banners on our site. What firewall/virus program are you using?

That issue in the past still bugs me.

Kaspersky, and I think I told you I solved that little mystery... it was Kaspersky, and I adjusted the settings so now it works, have to check that, maybe those morons who did a computer cleaning for me adjusted Kaspersky too... like other programs... :bang:

I am using Safari, and they do not work for me either. I just get blank pages as well. Gaystoryman, what did you do to fix it for you?

What I fixed was that when I tried to go to Blake Mason, I couldn't get any of the banners to show up, but I had the anti banner option in Kaspersky set to block, so unticked it and was able to see all the banner images.

As to the links here, still checking, but can't find any way for it to show. Has to be in Kaspersky or A Squared as it won't show in either IE or Firefox, have to try my opera browser to see if that works. If not, then it has to be my protection doing it. :bang::bang:

Hmm...Ok. I do not use Kaspersky or any other protection software that I know of on my computer. I am using Safari 3.0.4. When Click on the banners above, I only get bank white pages.

Well Opera didn't work either, so definitely something I have running that is blocking it, don't know why. Safari huh? Must be a mac boy... :D

Nope, still at 2.0.0.12 but I get the same result in IE and Opera so it has to be something on my system that is blocking it. :bang: and before someone asks, yes the green lights on the modem are on.. lol

i'm in the same version of firefox... so your firewall or antivirus or something must be doing it. if it happens on several banners, could they be blocking gaydemonads?

I've changed the code slightly, do you mind trying again.

Its because I use a seperate Ad Server which does the banners on here and all my other sites.

Had no idea there was issues in some browsers...

Anything is possible, have to get into asquared to see if its doing it, as I don't think Kaspersky is, checked other forums with ads, they worked, so I really don't know... I am blond, really really really blond.. but I do enjoy a good fishing trip or hunting expedition... just not for code or stuff, only cuties 666

I think in my case, it is somehow related to my security settings. As for Michael's I think it's cuz its a mac... :bad:

Still white pages, and I turned off Kaspersky, so I know it isn't that, now to hunt down the next blasted piece of security software running :bang:

Ok, its a bug sort of in the banner program that i use (openX).

In some cases due to security settings in Safari and possibley other browsers it wont redirect you to the advertised site.

Something with accepting sites redirects or cookies..

no solution at the moment (other than changing your security settings).. damn silly really! Sorry!

Ok, I fiddled with the security setting in my Safari, and I still can't get it to work. Sorry. Let me know if you want me to test anything for Mac, and I will be more than happy to die it for you.

Otherwise, you can just tell your sponsors that they are only missing out on the small micro minority of super creative and talented people who try to click through. (Because that's who use Mac's) 666 :whip:

Part of what makes this a super board, a willingness to work with the people who have an issue or problem, and accepting a possible error. Man I love this place more each day, specially now that I can forget about checking all my security settings..
