Were would I get hardware for a PowerMac G5? I cant quite figure out what I can use for it, my partner managed to mess up the drive on his G5 and also needs a internal USB card. But some sites say its normal PCI Cards others say you got to get Mac PCI cards..
Confused..
any ideas?

The drive should be a pretty standard hard drive. As far as USB, if it's the internal USB that's messed up, that would be an Apple part, but getting a PCI card is also an option. Some PowerMac G5s have PCI-X, others have PCIe - so find out what your particular computer needs, but they're not Mac-specific, so that would be the least expensive way to fix the problem...
As far as where to look, Apple can help, but there should also be Mac repair shops around. Here in New York we have TekServe, you'll probably have something equivalent.

the USB isnt broken, just need more ports. He makes music and has a large amount of devices plugged in (got a whole studio) so need more direct USB ports rather than yet more hubs.
I've taken a gamble and ordered a PCI USB card, will see what happens. I found you got a good Mac store in the US, but here in the UK no one seems to deal or sell anything for Macs other than Apple.
