As an affiliate what do you find is the hardest part of your job. What can programs do better to help you make the sale.

fuck, half the time the hardest part of being an affiliate is either getting reps to respond to our emails or else getting them to respond in a way that is helpful and makes sense.

Making it easy to get updates without wading through tons of crap that's been in the affiliate/webmaster area for ages, and being able to download zip files, not individual items, like banners...:bang: Ideally, what you and a few others do.. email the updates in a zip or a page that leads to a zip file for quick easy download & then use.

competing with sites like tube8.com and trying to make a livable income in spite of thieving affiliate program owners and trojans/malware switching refcodes.

Custom sized banners would be useful for me. Would many sponsors do that? I think it's probably a bit too much to ask?

a lot of sponsors offer custom-sized banners, so it's always a good idea to ask :)

Send me an e-mail with a zipped package of your weekly update. And include a paragraph of text about the guy. I never use it word for word because I want original text on my sites, but it's a nice jumping off point. I hate having to guess at guy's names, stats, etc.

And honestly, people bitch about spam, but if you're not sending me e-mails every week, I'm not promoting you. I don't have time to go hunting. I just don't.

Set me up with a password for a year. When I'm blogging, I need stuff now. I get up and I start hitting my round of sites. If I can't get into yours to grab a couple of photos, you're not in the blogs I write for. If you give me a password for 30 days, chances are when I need it, it has expired.
