Jeez! With Vsta I am getting update requests all the time. I BELIEVE I turned down a FF 3.0 update. Did anyone do it?

I hate firefox update notices, they are so intrusive until I found the little handy 'turn off' that just won't work... :bang: I still get the blasted 'update now' BS... :grrr:

Honestly - FF is not really it all promised to be, it crashes my pc every once in a while and now slowly I am getting back to using IE (yes I know I have sold my soul to the devil for saying that), FF is nice and has good features, but to be honest webpages and fonts look much better in IE.

And yes - all these updates - ugh - every time there is something new .... gets a bit annoying

I have noticed this latest update to firefox 2.0.0.12 has reintroduced their memory leak problem. Still, beats the hell out of i.e. :)

I just checked for ff updates, its not coming up with ff 3 for me, but I am still on XP so maybe its just a vista thing.

It IS in beta, but why did I get asked. I am sure I did. So strange. But after reading the page there is NO way I am upgrading. Still working on getting IE8 uninstalled.

LOL, on a more interesting note...iTunes (apple) has been trying to install Safari on my xp machine.

I'm loving Safari more and more - seems that we have NO video issues ever and it doesn't freeze like FireFux which is the thorn in our sides re: watching WMV videos !

At lease Safari is backed by Apple and I can always go into my local store and yell at them if I'm not happy!

I haven't had any issues with the updates. I'd say firefox is the best tool I have. Would really hate to go back to IE
