I'm just about to apply some changes, updated and upgrades to the forum software so it might look odd at times.

I never even noticed that there was a 'slim' option.

Ooohh.. new toy!

all done.

moved around some bits and I put the "slim" option as default... I think..

You might have to reset the option for "fixed" or "fluid" the first time you come back.

The banners looked a bit messy so removed the buttons and went with a single top banner, gives the main advertisers the best possible coverage.. "wink" "wink"

The upgrade was because of security and bug fixes (and some design changes). All old installation of vbulletin are no longer safe and can be hacked.

Be aware that your account on any forums that are no up-to-date and patched, can easily be compromised.

well thanks a lot.

Unfortunatley I dont have the time to redo the whole template setup that vbulletin uses, neither is it possible to buy any skins for vbulletin since they dont allow you to use it on adult forums.

So unless someone has the free time and experiance to totally modify how this php templetes looks and feels it wont change much more.

I've tried to make it easy to use and not too much in your face.

I don't find it boring, but easy to read, to use, which after all is the main goal of the forum, I think. To present the opinions, help, and information, so it can be easily assimiliated without mindless clutter and all that other crap many social networking forums seem to have.

After all, this is a business forum, not a party house, though a few little orgies now and then would be nice, with perhaps that sexy little demon junior fella. whistle

most of us come here to post and read the posts. as far as ugly, i don't think so. the board looks clean and businesslike, which makes sense to me since this is a business board.

I think the look is great the way it is.

Without naming names, the look of some of the other boards give me a slight headache and make me want to throw up a little bit when I visit. :ouch:

Hey i am here for the threads as much as anyone else but that doesnt mean that it couldnt be presented in a different skin. The board looked better / different yesterday morning than it did when i posted. Just wanted it back to taking up more of my screen but hey i guess i will live with how it looks now rather than risk stepping on more small shooes

You can change that. Look at the top right corner, it says Fixed or Fluid.

I offer you the option to choose yourself if you want the forum to cover the whole screen (fluid layout) or smaller (fixed). Try clicking them and see what it looks like.

I'm afraid it's not working for me in FF. No matter which I click, the forum takes up my whole screen.

how odd.. it might be that its stuck on the wrong cookie or something. Try and find a gaydemon.biz cookie and delete it.

I did test it in both FF and IE and works fine for me. It does however depend on cookies as I mentioned, but I did change the default around from fluid to fixed. That might have screwed things up. Sorry!

That's fixed ... I deleted the cookies and reloaded the forum and I have my fixed width back again.

Thanks!
