i've never seen bandwidth doled out in mb before, and i've been online since 1996. i'm actually not trying to be a jerk but i suggest you rethink your hosting packages to be more inline with what all other hosts are offering.

my main host offers 100 mb of storage and 5 gig of bandwidth for $3.95, and for $9.95 they offer 5 gig of storage and 100 gig of transfer. and that's not a cheap host, either. one of our other hosts charges $11.95/mo for 100 mb storage and 1000 gig of transfer, although admittedly that's probably one of the better bandwidth deals i've seen on a virtual.

I'm guessing it probably really is gb and not mb.

GLBT web hosting is apparently reselling theplanet.com, and the owner seems to be an escort in Vancouver that seems to specialize in hosting for escorts, so most likely, it's one server with a bunch of small low-traffic sites on it. Perfectly fine for escorts, probably not so good for membership sites :)

Holy crap, I am going through older posts and those are like 1997 prices (that's not a good thing).

Basschick: It used to be sold in MB, you just aren't remembering that far back. It was back when we had to pay $35/yr. for a domain! Back when you bought one domain and did everything from that domain. Including running 14 different businesses. My domain used to be _____webs.com (my last name and webs afterwards). That is back when I had a background check business, a desktop publishing business, a web design business and who knows what else. I also had a gold American Express business card, which became my downfall being that I was only 18. I went to Mexico on that card and spent like a millionaire. I wasn't able to grasp that whole "you pay American Express back the next month concept." Good times. Good times. :D

I still don't understand why American Express even gave me a card. I was truthful about my income. I was truthful about my age and everything on the application. It was before they would give someone as much credit as they wanted without asking any questions. I think they must have given me a card by accident. The reason I am shocked that they gave me on was because there was no pre-set limit on the American Express business gold cards.

They won't give me one now. Or ever again, most likely.
