kinda curious about that... why doesn't it throw a js alert like other boards?

:cool: I would have never known you sent me one had you not posted you did in that thread. Probably a good idea to have it or at least some sort of glowing OMFG CLICK ME link to appear instead of the "Unread 1"

well, it's not in the Private Messaging Options, so finding this option is gonna be one of THOSE things on vb... of course, the online manual refers to a different version than this - lucky us ;)

yah, same here. That tiny little "private message" thing doesn't draw my attention... hopefully the javascript thing is built in and can be turned on :)
should be a built default feature... maybe one of the boys turned it off

There apparently is a setting that you can use to have a pop-up box alert you, or an email. Read this thread:

I like the pop up thingee, works for me, as does having email notify when PM received, both make it super easy for me, but then again, I am simple to please. 666
