When they publish FHG's like this one?
http://hosted.gaygravy.com/boyslickass_p/003/gall.php?
I'm not disparaging gay gravy at all, but does anyone find the guys or the body zits all over both models in this gallery the least bit attractive?
Aren't FHG's supposed to make you want to BUY and membership to the sponsor's site?
Seems like this sponsor just grabs any set and throws it into an FHG pool... trust me, I'm going through all their FHG's right now and there are lots like this one...I guess the mentality is any content will do, just publish FHG's.
This one just makes me feel a bit queasy....

Yeah I totally agree. Its not exactly nice to look at. Im not sure Id even photograph them let alone put them on my promotional materials.

Not to mention the prominently visible bright orange condoms.
To be fair to the producer, sometimes you get a model who neglects to tell you they have a huge back acne problem but... in those cases you're best off to either photoshop it, sell the set to somebody else, or just tell the model "never mind"

I do understand that, but a back problem can be hidden by having the model on his back for most of the shoot. If its all over you have an issue though I guess.

Agreed. We had that exact situation one time where the model neglected to tell us about a huge back acne problem prior to the shoot, and we'd flown him in.
We did exactly as you suggest... carefully avoided getting his back in the pictures wherever we could, and for the most part it worked... the rest of his body was fine... but in a few situations, it was pretty much unavoidable, so for the promo images for that set we just used a little photoshop and presto... no skin problems :)

Well an asslick site needs to show ass doesn't it? I mean seriously, not many would enjoy licking an ass with zits all over the place.

That's why the invented photoshop. But I see bigger (or is it smaller) problems there then the 'breakout'.

For affiliates like myself who dont get involved with production this is quite an interesting thread. I think people like me can better understand why producers dont always deliver a perfect set by reading threads like this.
We all want the same thing, to make money, but sometimes I feel that affiliates dont understand sponsors, content buyers dont understand producers, sponsors dont always understand their affiliates, none of us fully understand billing and so on.
I think we all need to communicate a tiny bit better.
Example: I feel a bit annoyed sometimes that billers decline at "pre auth" Ive never done a chargeback, but I have tested my decline page by using a card I know will decline. Both Epoch and CCBill now decline my card 100% of the time. CCBill state its declined at "pre auth". I would like to know why they do this, so when people say the billers are scrubbing and its why we have low sales, I can understand it better.
As an industry we need to communicate alot better and learn about stuff we dont have first hand experience in (imo).
nasty shit. definitely should NOT be an fhg unless it's promoting a site featuring guys with skin problems

I've seen a lot worse actually..
And I'm sorry to say it but its always content produced or using East European models. I just wonder if they dont know or can understand what gay guys are looking for or look at. (producers probably straight?)
There certainly are VERY good looking East European guys..

I think it's cute because it is so ugly. Poor ratty thingy. :)
Back to the model zit problem. Why don't you send the model home? They should know that working in the industry means you have to be near perfect. Confuses me.
