Media Abuse, LLC (http://mediaabusellc.com/) was designed to assist gay adult webmasters, studios, and producers of gay content in shutting down the sharing or illegal disposition of copyrighted materials that are being pirated (shared) on the internet.
MediaAbuseLLC (http://mediaabusellc.com/) is a new venture that I recently started, upon the suggestion of Bryan Ockert of Chaosmen. Here is a little of what Bryan had to say after the first three days of our service for him:
“MediaAbuseLLC is doing great! I think most companies have a small staff..and they think that staff can cover it. Not true..who wants to pay a staff members taxes, unemployment and insurance to comb the net and find stolen content...
We had a conference call on Friday and I mentioned the 85 or so files you had found and had removed, in just 3 days.
I don't think $100-150 bucks a month is too much to have this kind of service. But then again..I am the only employee here, so the idea of paying a small fee for someone to "inhibit" file sharing seems like a fantastic idea to me! Sign me up!"

About our website's blog format: I recently purchased the domain, but I've been so busy actually working that I haven't had the time to create a better looking website; the blog option was the fastest way to at least give people a point of reference.
We specialize in Gay content only; I leave the other stuff to the other guys...
MediaAbuseLLC has had over 3,600 digital files deleted from various file-sharing hosts since it's very recent beginning on Jun 16, 2008.

I posted here on Gaydemon because this board is more professional than the very outrageous lies and allegations that have been allowed to be posted at GayMainStreet.
None of the posts you cite (from GayMainStreet) have any factual basis whatsoever. One of the responses from GayMainStreet include this outrageous and ridiculous post:
"i think the problem is that you may get the videos removed but if your the one that uploads them its kinda point less"
This libelous comment doesn't even make sense; we spend hours and hours researching the internet hunting down pirated files, why we would "upload" some just to have them taken down is ludicrous. Again, there is no documentation to support this completely ridiculous and false allegation of our company. This comment has also been forwarded to our counsel, as we believe a tort of defamation has occurred.
None of the outrageous comments posted at GayMainStreet were from clients of MediaAbuseLLC. If you would like, I can put you in contact with our clients, who very much appreciate what we do for them.

Do you know what state he's in and the status of his LLC application?
If not it seems you're counting on innuendo to make a point that you can't verify.
Can you please post verifiable facts that can back up your claims?

I think everybody can have their own opinion about this company but I think it is really good to read the threads I posted before to decide to work or not with them

I totally agree.
Can we agree that our opinions should be based on fact?
I, along with others, am neutral on this particular issue and feel we should all have opinions based on informed fact.
According to legalzoom.com (http://www.legalzoom.com/dba-state-requirements/new-mexico-dba.html) which is co founded by the famous attorney Robert Shapiro:

People in that thread implying that the business name Media Abuse LLC is invalid are misinformed and have opinions not based on fact, or the law.

Something disturbing I found being distributed as fact on the site you referenced was that WWW (Media Abuse LLC) was the owner of GayForIt, but that doesn't seem to be the case as GLBT Ltd, who owns GayForIt, seems to be run from the UK and they registered their trademark logo with the UK intellectual property office, as you can see here (http://www.ipo.gov.uk/tm/t-journal/t-tmj/journals/6724/domestic/2475901.html). ( Trade Mark 2475901 via Steven Compton (http://www.ipo.gov.uk/t-find-number?detailsrequested=C&trademark=2475901) )
The company GLBT Ltd which owns GayForIt, JerkYourTube, etc. is also a valid company in the UK ( Registered No. 05266594 , SIC cdoe 92340 - Other entertainment activities not elsewhere classified )
You can find their address, annual accounts info, directors info, etc here (http://www.ukdata.com/numbers/05266594.html).
If you do a 192.com search (http://www.192.com/search/people.cfm) under their listed address ( 12, WOOD END WAY, CHANDLER'S FORD, EASTLEIGH, HAMPSHIRE) You find that it is a valid address with a 17-20 year old living with a couple people in their 60's.

I am not going into any details about this situation in open, except to say that MediAbuse is owned by someone who originally ran some pirate blogs (openly admitted). Went legit with affiliate blogs. Then decided to open Media Abuse.
My main issue with Media Abuse is the fact that he advertises the service Media Abuse on the same blog as he advertises the tube sites in question, mainly gayforit.com. There is just some irony involved in advertising a tube site that is notorious for having stolen content repeatedly show up again and again after DMCA's are filed when you run a service to have stolen content removed.

My main issue with Media Abuse is the fact that he advertises the service Media Abuse on the same blog as he advertises the tube sites in question, mainly gayforit.com. There is just some irony involved in advertising a tube site that is notorious for having stolen content repeatedly show up again and again after DMCA's are filed when you run a service to have stolen content removed.
The websites, specifically JerkYourTube, GayForIt.com, and ItsAllGay.com are legitimate websites that go above and beyond the requirements of DMCA regulations. Yes, they did have a problem before because they allowed videos to be uploaded without being moderated, and hundreds of copyrighted videos slipped by; they have spent hours going through their databases and have removed any that were watermarked or were familiar.
The websites have removed any and all videos whenever they were notified of any copyright issues (usually the same day), in accordance with DMCA requirements, which they adhere to 100%. Now, all videos that are uploaded to these websites are monitored and now must be approved before going online.
So let's stop accusing legimate websites of being illegal or hosting pirated content, unless you have verifiable facts to back up your allegations.

The problem with Gayforit, etc. is they haven't introduced themselves as part of the community, and have tried to remain anonymous.
If I have a problem with any of the other tube sites I have the email addy of the owners and can contact them directly.
I've posted the GayForIt owners info in this thread so hopefully they'll become a member of the board and give us producers direct email info so we can have preferential treatment over any other DMCA notices they might receive as they will know we are who we say we are and get things done as quickly as possible for us.

As for your "verifiable facts" comment. I wont make an accusation that I can't back up.
