So the Olympics are a couple of weeks away. Do you remember the last summer Games, are we in for a Web-wide slowdown as surfers flock to their televisions?

Is the effect worse for softer porn sites than ones that are more hardcore? Like I can see a site that has athletic eye candy having their audience distracted... But I can't see a fisting site being affected too much (to take the other end of the spectrum).

i was pretty surprised last summer games - i didn't realize that many people watched the olympics. not only that - they forgot to surf porn afterward. maybe they didn't need to after watching all those athletic men in swimming trunks and tight spandex ;)

I don't doubt that things will slow down a bit. But I also believe that the DVR is going to make a big impact this go around. Are they any channels NOT showing Olympic coverage?

This is the first time I've ever even thought about it. The only thing that came up in my mind is that the 2010 Winter Olympics are going to be held here and that's going to be good and bad.

Anyway...let's hope they still want to check out some porn. Maybe all those speedos and spandex suits will make dudes WANT to see some fisting or whatever lol
