Okay ladies and gentlemen.... the new tour is 99% complete. The affiliate version has nothing for our cam site, the store or the email sign up form.

What do you think? Are there any images that you think are not strong for the market or any text that you believe should be modified?

The graphic itself is great but I wouldn't repeat the same image again on the second page since it's already shown on the first page. I'd use a similar graphic (same size, same layout) but with a different model. You stand a better chance of hooking someone in with a another model if they didn't fall in love with the first guy.

That's a good point. I would need to use the same guy in a different pose or something since they both point to the most recent update. The one on the updates page has the text description etc. And the preview video that goes with the update is also on the updates page. Will have to ponder that one. Thanks!

I like that too. The countdown clock is a nice touch and about as high-tech as I get around here with my very limited knowledge of that sort of thing.

I love it! Specially the first page. Its just gives such a good first impression.

The other pages are very good as well, The big clear, high quality pictures really shows off your content / models well.

I could but then the video preview for the most recent update would not be on the same page as the graphic. Unless I were to put something else on the first page. How important do you think it is to have the most recent update on the welcome page? Or should I have a killer photo that surfers respond well to? This one gets great reviews..

How about doing a randomly selected "proven winner" on the first page? Then on the second page you go into what's new. If you've got a half dozen or more that randomly cycle on the first page it will seem like there's always something new and different to the visitor, but your first impression is always really strong.

I could certainly try that. I have gotten a lot of advice that we don't push our updates enough (plus we now have a lot of searchable text that we never had before) so I'm not sure what is best.

I would like to keep it but we are in the process of adding Epoch and cascading which they tell me can not be done with the Geo-ip. I hate giving it up because it has been a serious rev builder.

Meanwhile, many of us would love to know which makes more money - geo-ip pricing through your primary biller or basic pricing that gets cascaded.

I agree, but the other day when I made 70 bucks from a single CCbill sale, I can tell you, I was shocked to say the least! I am not a big affiliate by any means, but that is a large sale, combine that with the rebills from manifest, they can stay right where they are for all I am concerned! LOL

I love your work!

The tour is great and very unique. I think it's going to work very well.

For me the only snag was on this page (http://manifestmen.com/preview-erotic-muscle-photos.cfm)it told me it was loading thumbnail 1 of 18 and seemed to get stuck loading the thumbnails. It showed the whole page, just not the thumbnails. Maybe it's because I use firefox?

The tour is great. Good job!

Thanks Dean. The numbers have told me that geo-targeted is the way to go. However, the conversion ratios are jumping all over the place for traffic that does not come from search engines. You may have read in AVN that we are the 4th best converting gay site according to Wildline at 1:106. But the traffic that comes from affiliates is jumping all over the place from 1:25 to 1:980. And that is our average (some affiliates do better and some do much worse). It all depends on how targeted the traffic is. We have a lot of members outside the US and we are currently beginning a targeted push for France and Japan. Everything I read and am being told indicates that the Epoch billing will do better than CCBill in the international market due to their payment options. Honestly, I don't believe it but I am going to check it out. Of course, midway through this process the recurring option was dropped from the biggest payment method we are about to test so it may all be for naught. If I find that it does not actually increase revenue rather than the number of sales, then we will drop back and return to geo-targeted pricing. With the investment in CDN we are in a great position to serve international customers. It is great to see that the "Your videos stop and start" complaints have totally vanished.

Now if I could just get folks to understand that they can not access the site from two different browsers on different machines at the same time, I will be set.

So far, after testing it with IE, FF and Opera using XP, it loads just fine.
