Its been a while since I submitter galleries, so Im a little rusty as to whats the best thing to use now.

I used to use Chameleon Submitter. Is that still a good way to go or is there something better now?

As far as I know, Chameleon is still one of the best ways to autosubmit. I think there are a few others, but this one seems to be the most updated, and I think has the largest dbase of tgp's to submit to.

chameleon is a good autosubmitter IF you do your own databases. i strongly recommend hand-submitting to the bigger or better tgps, though, as many tgps don't allow submitters and yes, they can detect them. but if you do your own databases and check every tgp, chameleon is a great way to get thousands of extra hits from smaller and medium tgps.

on the other hand, i made 3x more hits from my list of 52 good tgps that i hand-submitted to than from submitting with chameleon. still, doing both was the best.

I think you can't go wrong with Chameleon Submitter. I've been using it for a couple of years and I haven't had any problems with it.

Even if you hand submit, you can still use Chameleon to prepare the gallery duplicates, and save yourself some time.

Advanced Submitter works great for TGP submission, and does manual submission too. Never had a problem using it on any big TGP's.

i've heard good things about dreamsubmitter, too.

btw, about 3 years ago a friend and i had a contest. he posted one gallery using chameleon, i posted by hand - same niche, same number of pics, same quality of pics, etc. nothing is perfect, but we tried to keep it as even as we could. i posted at a lot less tgps and i didn't post to thehun or al4a, but i got almost exactly 3x the hits - my gallery got just over 300,000, his got about 100,000.

of course, things might have changed with chameleon by now.

anyone besides me remember TGSW? i think it was the first submitter back in the day...

How many tgps did it take you to post by hand?
I need to get back into submitting but the idea of submissing 200 (or whatever amount) galleries everyday by hand seems like a lot.

btw, I remember GASS. That was my first submitter.

i loved G.A.S.S. - in fact, my band's music is packed in G.A.S.S. V2 :D

that was 54 tgps. using G.A.S.S. and roboform, submitting took just under an hour. and i agree that doing 200 tgps a day is a pain, but if you did 40 or 50 by hand and used a submitter for the smaller guys, it wouldn't take too long and you'd get some traffic from the smaller tgps you would have missed.
