I've just had a phenomenal weekend sales wise, probably one of the best I've ever had. And today's looking quite good too. It's odd the way these things go.

I can't figure it out. Some days it is pretty slow and I see folks posting "best ever'. Then I will see folks saying that it is the worst in history and we are doing great.
I can't give away all the secrets but there is a really dumb way I have of projecting our traffic and sales for the day. There is a certain non-adult blog for auto enthusiasts that I read each day. If the posts from the night before have fully moved to the second page, we are going to have a good day. If they have not, then out day will be average. If there are no more than 5 new posts, then it will be a really bad day. Its funny, but this site has nothing to do with us but it mirrors our sales exactly regardless of the amount of traffic we see.
Go figure.

Traffic patterns are pretty consistent usually. I used to work in call centers for hotel chains booking reservations. And it was insanely odd how exact the patterns were from year to year. If the third Monday in April was your busiest day of the month, it was likely to be so next year, too. So precisely similar were call volumes that you could staff your centers accordingly and rarely get caught with too few agents manning the phones. I imagine it's pretty similar with the Internet's traffic and buying patterns. I'd have to sit down for a couple of weeks and plot out all my traffic for the past five years, but if I did I'm betting I'd be seeing some similar trends. I just don't have the time.

I had the most amazing Saturday, with a pitiful Sunday
Summers are odd. I'm a firm believer that humidity, temperature and day of the week are a strong predictor depending on where there bulk of your traffic is from both from the U.S. and international.

its been awesome for us too, but then again we are working our asses off right now to try to make up some of the money we lost on our little adventure for the first six months of this year.

Weird, I had the other way around. A very "normal" saturday and extremly good sales on Sunday. And now it seems back to normal again.
But then I use a lot of revshare, so some days simply are good because there happens to be a lot of rebills.

I wonder if USA customers are:
1) Staying home instead of buying gas, and
2) Still spending their $300 Stimulus Checks?
I'm glad sales are up this month as well, however, I'm not spending the excess, because next month might be the hangover day.
As far as I am concerned, it looks as if someone switched off the Internet in the last 4-5 days. :(

We've enjoyed a nice influx of direct memberships while our Video Feed Program seems to be just idle at the moment. We'll be rolling out a new option in our Video Feed offerings this coming week, so hopefully that will breathe some new life into company sign ups as well. Our numbers aren't astronomical, but they are on a steady, daily increase!

Perhaps it has the same demographics as your site?
