Geez, Another WP Release

I am still trying to come to grips with Wordpress 2.5.1 and so today, Wordpress 2.6 Beta 1 has hit the release. I really wonder about the 'geeks' and if they have a deal with the drug companies... 666

Release after release, and let's be honest, none of them work right, hence the new releases. Why in hell can't they simply take six months or so, work out the kinks, then release something that will stand up to use?

Just finished upgrading themes, plugins, and now we are on the verge of starting that crap all over again :bang:

They expect a full release by Mid July 2008.

Bec, why don't you swap your WP blogs to your BO system? It will save you the "weekly" upgrade work and stress!

It's not just about my blogs, but those of others that I "maintain". Everytime there's a major upgrade, it seems it busts something in the template and half the plugins go haywire.

Damn I just finished upgrading mine too. I'm glad non of the sites I maintain for others have blogs

Because most of the old releases ARE broke - security problems, hacker heaven code, etc.
