there sure are a lot of foot fetish sites out there - more than any other fetish i see, and this applies to both gay and straight sites. do you suppose that feet are the most popular fetish, or does this at least partly reflect the sites that webmasters are creating?

in real life i see a lot of people into satin and leather, and although they don't seem to consider it a fetish, they seem to really be into the feel and look of both - whether wearing them or checking out someone hot who's wearing them. underwear seems very popular, too. then i know a fair amount of men and some women into guys with shaved heads or facial hair, yet i don't recall any sponsor sites focusing on either of these particular fetishes - and they are fetishes.

so why do feet seem to have such a strong presence as a fetish? is it really that much larger as a fetish?

I think there are a couple reasons...

First, from the producer's perspective - it's probably a lot easier to shoot a footsie gig and have images or [pardon this] footage that can be used in other offerings, compared to leather, bondage, et cetera - settings that require drastic costumes or props.

But I think you hit the primary nail on the head. Feet are something you can be into "mildly" and not be considered too extreme.

Hell, who doesn't like a good foot massage?
And who's unwilling to give one up to get laid?

Depends what you call a "fetish"

If you think Bondage is a fetish then it is #1 by a wide margin.
