Hi all,
I was suggested by some people I talked to to post my experiance with Hyde Park Productions on here, to see if anyone could give some advice..so here it is.
I did modelling work for hyde park productions, the film I did was winning the bet for there sub company, dark realm productions. To this date I havn't been paid the money I was owed, and they continue to ignore me.
This is the full story of what happend, I will include chat logs where the promised me money but didnt come thru.
I contacted Hyde Park Productions in october 2007. And we had to talks and they wanted me to fly to Las vegas in January to shoot a movie with them. There were some concerns about me not getting in so I flew in early to arizona, and me and some other models were driven to las vegas. I arrived in Arizona on january 3rd
I did webcam shows with them on January 4th and 5th, selling pairs of underwear, and they said all profits would go to me. I sold 6 pairs, one for 75, one for 35, 3 for 25 and 1 for 20
From january 6th-14th we filmed 2 movies. Frisky Twinks and Winning the bet. I was only in winning the bet. We all drove back to there home in Phoenix, AZ on the 13th. And flew out on the 14th. Winning the bet was filmed for there sub company, dark realm productions.
I was told in the morning of the 14th, that they would pay me within a week, send me 30 copies of the DVD I was in when it was ready to be released as well as send me the pictures taken on set for myself to use. They gave me 100 dollars US before I left saying because of one of the models medical bills and food expenses they were short on cash and couldn't pay the models the full amount. I met one of the models at the airport and he to told me he was givin 100 with the promise of the rest. I don't know if he was paid either.
I was supposed to be paid 250 for my scene, so they owed me 150 for the scene. Plus the money from the webcam shows I did which was 205 dollars . I was also promised 100 bucks for my attempts for 2 scenes for frisky twinks that didnt work out. 50 for each attempt. So in total they were supposed to send me 455 dollars.
It has been almost 2 months since January 14th and I still have not been paid. They never message me back on yahoo, they don't return my phone calls, they don't answer me on aim, they NEVER respond to anything. 3 times in the last 2 months Doug messaged me back, the first 2 promising to talk to Ted and get me my money. The most recent one, on march 9th he said I would have my money on march 11th, its now the 13th.
I just found out they have shipped the DVD`s and they have arrived to customers and the video is available on Video on Demand. So they released it without paying me. I do not know if the other models have been paid or not either.
I also did not have a work visa and I wasn't a US citizen when we filmed the movie, which I just found out is illegal. I am a canadian citizen and a canadian resident.
So yea, thats the story. I have chat logs to proof they havn't paid me and that they continue to ignore me requests to be paid. They have chatted with me 3 times since I left january third.
I am not looking to cause drama nor am I looking for attention. I am just looking for some helpe so that I can get what is owed to me.
If you wish to see the chat logs I could post them, but I will leave them out for now.
