I have gotten a couple of these recently, one guy claimed that there was a charge on his credit card but he never got access to our site (the charge amount was $18.95 which we have never used as a price point), another guy asked why we canceled his membership and demanded it back. Upon deeper review on both of these, we found both were lying and just trying to get a free membership.
Does this happen to everyone? If yes, how often?

oh, yes - it surely does happen. we won't hear from anyone like this for a month or two, then we'll hear from several in a short period. i must say that some of them are pretty creative and good for a laugh lol

Oh god honey. We really need a users/ip blacklist. This has been going on for a long time...and not just you.

LOL well you have to admire the cheek of it I guess. I wouldnt have the balls to do something like that.
I used to work in Homebase which was a huge garden store, and people used to buy lawn mowers and bring them back after theyd used them to claim the money back! People are cheeky.

Yes, I've been in the retail business....the one I like is the wedding party bringing back the shoes they wore the night before.

I knew a girl back in the day, a hot blonde that use to go to target, take an item off the shelf and then walk straight to the return counter and "return" it. Use to work 100% of the time.

Assuming she had the receipt for the same article she bought...good one.
