Lesson learned: Never install what they recommend! Do a custom install.

Hmmm, I always have just used the 'recommended install' and so far, knock on wood, haven't had a problem, but then, not using VISTA.

Be careful. I got two new toolbars and various other junk that I will never use.

Well normally I am just lazy and do it. Taking off the crap later is a pain though. Oh try uninstalling one of Microsoft's trial softwares. It's criminal.
