"The first winner of the Mr Gay UK contest has been charged with murdering a man amid fears he planned to eat the corpse.


Anthony Morley, 35, was held after Damian Oldfield's body was found at a house in Harehills, Leeds, with a chunk cut out of the right leg.

Police are said to have found human flesh diced as though "for cooking"."

Totally! Two things come to mind.

1) At some point Mr. Gay UK thought to himself, "I have an idea . . . and it's a keeper!"
2) The article said he was employed at a gay magazine. Can you imagine the chatter in the cubicles the day after he was arrested when people start wondering, "Has anyone seen Mr. Gay UK? He usually responds to my emails about cute kittens, but nothing!"

And those who have worked in corporate america will know and appreciate that at some point people begin wondering when they can start stealing office supplies from his cube -- Mr. Gay UK's chair is so much nicer than my own!

Well, I guess I just became a statistic. Damien Oldfield was my advertising rep at Bent magazine... I now know someone who has been murdered.

I just hope he's the only one... friends, no need to abandon me, the odds have gotten better for you!

Sincerely though, I hope Damien made it to a better place and that his family's pain is eased as soon as possible.
