when surfers click a buddyprofits link and go to the join page, if they hit back, they get a popup from a customer service bot. if you click the link on the "live help" window, you are taken to a cheaper version of the join page but i can't find my account number on it anywhere - i did a simple search for the number after viewing source. btw, the link below is my link and it's revshare.

i guess i could see this for pay per sale, but not revshare, but maybe there's a way i'm still getting credit for the sales?

I don't know if this helps, but here's what I figured out.

When you join a Buddy's Profit site, there are three pages. The first page is where you select your login and password, your referral ID is on that page. The second page is the price page where you select your membership, and your referral ID is on that page, too. The next page is where you enter your join information and your referral is not on that page — presumably it's already carried through. If you click "back" on this page and then click the customer service bot's link for the 50% offer, you are returned to this last page where you enter your name, address, etc. Your referral ID wasn't there before, so I wouldn't expect to see it now.

The only way to truly know if you're getting credit is to join the site I guess.

just so you know, i've heard from a rep from buddyprofits who assures me that credit is being given for all signups including the ones on exit from that bot page. he was also kind enough to tell me i was free to do a test signup at any time, then afterwards i could call support to get a refund.
