View Full Version : How long do you give new sponsors to start making money?

When you start using a new sponsor, how long do you give them to start converting sales? I sometimes only wait a week and if there are no sales I move on. I just wonder if I should start giving them more time.

I like to see a sale before 1500 clicks. After that I start to loose interest in it. I do know thats wrong though, as you meant to give it till 5k before you can judge the ratio, but I get really impatient lol
about 2000 unique, it depends of how many/day I send

It really depends on your traffic. If you have highly targeted niche traffic and five other sites have been converting at 1:100 and the new site hasn't made a sale in 1,000 uniques then you pretty much get a good idea.
If it's just general traffic then you need a longer threshold.
The more you know about your traffic, the shorter the threshold you need.

It's all about daily hits. I noticed that sending 30 hits every day for 30 days is more unproductive than sending 900 hits in two days. And hits are the same.
