Don't be so stingy with your passwords.

A couple of weeks ago I requested a password from a site. I got my review notes made almost right away. But then another week passed before I started to write it. When I went back to get screen grabs of the member's area, the password had expired.

When I requested an extension, they e-mailed back, "We have extended it for a couple of days."

Good lord.

On a happier note, I just finished a review for another site. It was a good review because it's a great site. The site owner contacted me, thanked me, and asked for a banner so they could put up a link. How cool!

amen!

lots of review sites have a queue - they don't even send your site to a reviewer for 2 or 3 weeks, and the reviewer may also have a queue. a month should be the minimum login site owners should send.

and while i notice newbie paysite owners are always afraid that reviewers will be handing out our logins to all of our friends, i've never heard of that happening. the larger programs tend to hand out non-expiring passwords - i have a few that have been active for over 2 years and i haven't gotten crazy with them yet.
