Google PR is updating

I just saw a few threads over on GFY and thought I would post here as well! :D

bloody hell it has.. its given back Gaydemon its PR5 and all internal main sections PR4.

Its too good to be true...

something odd going on here. I dont think its a proper PR update. Its some sort of recalculation. new pages have not recieved any PR.

Google has either:


reverted back to how PR was a few months ago
applied and changed how they calculate PR
recalculated old pages
started using a different and simplified PR calculation
Im guessing the last one.. PR seems to flow far to nice now through a site.

I got a few new PRs on sites, so it is giving some new sites PR, however, my sites that are getting PR now, are ones that came up right before the last update.

yeah i noticed a couple of sites have changed PR, but other than a nifty stat to encourage linktrades, what is PR good for now anyway?
