Have seen a few threads about, with complaints of the processor join pages being down, as well as access to the admin area of the processor. So I am curious, what are you using to monitor the uptime of your join pages?
By that I mean do you routinely check to see if the links from the join page are working, going to epoch or ccbill or verotel, and if so, you got a program that does it, or do you manually do it?
I would think it would be something checked most often, to insure customer's can get access to enter their credit card stuff. whistle

We have a script that checks the links every so often and sends an email/text message when the links are not returning a good response code.
Just like checking if your server is up like using a site like http://www.uppanel.com

Processors are pretty reliable and have their join pages hosted on server farms, up until recently hearing these issues of a processor being down, I never thought to monitor them.

My local homepage, resident on my F:/ drive, checks each and every one of my affliliate links in a simple way, by loading each page in a small iframe.
(It also loads red or green buttons for my own sites, letting me know if they're delivering html and .php)
A page that is there shows a tiny portion of the current tour - a page that isn't shows up catastophically, with dumb scroll bars and white space.
This has helped me a little, but not as much as having access to the sites I promote.
That is far more important... In the case of Latino-Caliente, which didn't update at all in fY 2007 and has missed 4 updates in fY 2008, I have been able to redirect traffic to other latino sites.
At this point in the biz, I'm not interested in sending hits to a site that won't issue me a non-expiring user and pass.
That's because I'm very interested in what happens inside, and if the site owners are reluctant to give ME access, I'm reluctant to try selling access to others.
I don't want to promote dead sites, or sites that are down for "improvements" 80% of the time.
