View Full Version : Collin Oneal contact info?
Anyone know how to contact Collin Oneal? I'd like to get some banners to promote his site but can't find any. I tried the email on his site a couple weeks ago but never got a response.
Update: I just saw that his site is down, but I can't tell how long its been this way. Anyone here know what's going on with him?

I thought My Gay Cash picked up his site. Perhaps check with them.

Dear Affiliates,
This is Collin here, and I really can't believe this is happening, but, somehow, our website host inadvertently and quite mistakenly disconnected our World of Men server, erased all of the videos and then, for good measure, reformatted the servers to original factory settings.....So, I am very sorry to say that the site is down and will remain down for around a week or so.
As you know we are about to switch back to collinoneal.com. With the launch of collinoneal.com we will officially join the family of the My Gay Cash network will be among the most advanced sites in the industry.
In the meantime, CCBill has agreed to take care of all customers that have complaints as a result of this disruption in service.
On a personal note, I have always taken pride that ever since we started collinoneal.com five years ago, we have never had a disruption of service for more than a few minutes. Unfortunately, our web site host made a mistake which was completely our of my our control. So please remove my banners and any other marketing material that links to worldofmen.com because as of today, worldofmen.com is no longer a paysite.
The only good news in all of this is that we were about to launch collinoneal.com and this is to happen in the coming days. I am really sorry for any hassle that this may have caused you.

On that note --- Let me ask you guys, what do you think of the MyGayCash network? I've never signed up with them because, frankly, they didn't flip my switches.
So, I've followed Collin O'Neal from Gunzblazing, over to his own ccBill enterprise, and now that chapter has ended and he's with a new network, MyGayCash.

My Gay Cash does ok for me. Not fantastically, but ok. The sites do sell. If you have some hardcore traffic, you should make some money with them.
Their affiliate area is a bit confusing at first, but once you figure it out you should be ok. For the longest time it took almost a minute to log into it, but they seem to have fixed that issue. Thankfully.
Their affiliate support is pretty good too.

I first got to say Collin Oneal have disappointed me. I do understand that everyone can have accidents and things do go wrong. But as an affiliate you do get fed up when you twice have made an effort to try and sell the site, adding campaings, reviews, ads etc.. and then the "situation" changes yet again, and again.. It costs me both time and money to setup a new site and I've yet to see any return for it. It doesn't help that I have not had a single email about these changes and only found out from this post. I presume that's to do with the WMS system on CCBill. In all honesty World of Men have been a total waste of time.
In regards to MyGayCash.
They are really nice guys, very helpful and reliable. They also got some really good content. BUT the sites can have terrible signup ratios so you will want to keep an eye on it. I think they are limping a bit behind due to design issues and functionality.
They recently joined 3 of their sites into one which actually seems to have improved ratios on the bareback side of their portfolio so I think they might be trying to improve things.

In regards to My Gay Cash, for two years I worked pretty intensively with them on their hosted blogs (something I stopped doing a month or two ago). I've personally met all the main people in the company at least once and I've IM'd with them hundreds of times... I like them a lot.
As Bjorn says, their ratios can be not-so-great, but I wonder how much of that is due to the passes they've set up. They basically have one pass for bareback and another for condom (though some condom has shown up on the bareback and some bareback on the condom). I think part of their ratio problem is the fact that someone will click to see 3 or 4 sites, but then only needs to buy one. That's going to make the ratios a lot worse than if it were one site, one purchase. I've spoken with them about it and they're in the process of figuring out how to improve the situation. Once they make the changes I'm going to watch very closely - I think things could change pretty dramatically (for the better).

As a fellow affiliate, I feel your pain.
That being said, Collin has always been responsive for anything and everything I've asked. Plus, I find his actual film work to be great. Also, for the record I did receive an affiliate email from him about this early Sunday morning.
What I have contemplated drawing from this experience is that time may be showing that being a talented independent filmmaker does not necessarily translate to being a successful pay website operator. (Wouldn't the reverse be true as well? I can write HTML and code a blog, but could a successfully pull off filming a hot sex scene?) Collin has talked on the boards about his frustrations with ccBill's WMS system, which I unfortunately converted to when joining the WorldOfMen program.
The Gutenberg Bible in its original Latin is more intuitive and easy to read than ccBill WMS.
ccBill is not alone in recent billing / tracking interfaces which are about as draining as the actual overall decreases in sales for economic reasons.
Fortunately, I'm very happy selling his DVDs and offering my readers to see his movies via Maleflixx.
I personally like promoting independent producers on my movie review site. It may just be more efficient for me to promote such enterprises via large websites who include their content as part of a much larger library.
Thanks for the invitation, Roger. I'll look into MyGayCash as something to promote well.

You're right Colin seems like a nice guy and been quite responsive. But this is business. I just can't afford to waste time on sites that doesn't last more than a few months, specially now when its getting harder and harder to sell.
Funny enough I did mention in a thread the other week about the problem with sites owners / film makers not necessarily being suited or good at running a site.
Lets hope the site will be more successful under MyGayCash.

I only wish he would have given it more time to make sales.
I think that world of men could have done well with more time to get established.

The My Gay Cash group are great to work with. For a while there I though they were going crazy opening a whole bunch of different but similar bareback sites. Breed me Raw, breed my face, breed my hole, breed my foot, they were getting a little out of hand there, and yet none of the sites seemed to be updating as often as they should. They've been amalgamating some of those sites into one over the past couple of months. An the two Alpha Male sites merged as well. I see decent result from them (acutally just sold a membership today). I'm in the midst of launching a bareback blog and they're on the top of my list of sites to deal with. I hope Collin O'Neal does well for them. Nice guy, hot man, great videos, but Collin should stay behind the camera and pump out the content. Collin should not be allowed to talk to affiliates or post of boards. Keep him busy filming.

Hey guys! I'm here! I have been working very hard on the transition over to MyGayCash and have not posted something here in a while.
There will be a press release about what happened to www.worldofmen.com next week. If you read the front page you will understand, but the press release will explain that the site outtage is NOT my fault.
I will keep you all posted. If you need to contact me please feel free to e-mail me at collin@worldofmen.com
The site being re-launched by MyGayCash will be the most technologically advanced site in the gay porn business and will be re-launched with 2 weeks at the most. You will be once again able to promote my unique World of Men content with exclusive models and scenes very soon!
Thanks so much for your continued support.

Will the site remain the same in terms of how it looks, content etc? Would make life easier as old promo content affiliates might have would still be useable.

MyGayCash is actually doing a really good job! I am very happy with them and the hard work they are doing to make really awesome banners and other affiliate promotion tools. Take another look at them

Hi Bjorn! The site will be so much more conversion friendly and have model bios that I personally wrote, an interactive world map, and access to other sites within the MyGayCash network. When we are ready to have affiliates sign up at MyGayCash for WORLDOFMEN.COM we will notify you all so you can change your links. All the content will be the same content and I will still be the sole producer of the content. I am very excited about this new era of my World of Men!
So I'm confused... will the new site be marketed as collinoneal.com or worldofmen.com?
If not World of Men, why not? That's a great domain name.
By the way, I was just on the My Gay Cash website and it took a long time to load pages. Hope their paysites aren't like that.
And I don't mean to judge but Collin its a little disappointing that you have joined with a company that promotes bareback sex.
