Forum software recommendations?

I have a PunBB forum on DaddyDater and some hackers have found a backdoor to flood it with spam.
Ive disabled the board for now.

Any recommendations on something I can get thats easy for members to use?
I was going to buy Vbulletin but last I remember they dont allow adult sites to use their software.

vBulletin is fine with adult. It's vBSEO that wasn't OK, so until vBulletin put things like SEO'd URLs into the v4 you just didn't have SEO-optimized features.

Personally, I always pay for the upgrade to remove branding so companies like vBulletin don't get their name associated with things they may not like. Just seems prudent.

I love vBulliten, but i think ~$150 is a little pricey,

im also thinking about adding a forum, any others?

I've used http://www.simplemachines.org for years. It's free has a vibrant community. And just works well.
