Yep that's correct. It will soon be just http://www.gaypornpig.com - the directory will be moving to the front page (ie.. the whole site will be gossamer powered.. with major changes to increase traffic for blogs). A few weeks away though.

Thatīs a big list, Tom. But the question is rather, which directories send decent traffic.For my free sites I have reduced my list to 15 directories and they really send some good traffic.

I have submitted my blogs to many directories and some send only 0-5 visitors per month. Thatīs a waste of time.

I agree that if you look at the links as strictly a "traffic in" number it could be considered a waste of time, however there is the added benefit of an additional backlink to your site with your site name / listing keywords as the anchor text that is good for some SERP value as well.

Good point, very few link list have any traffic. I've tested so many and the list is rather short now. Sure you get a link back to your site, but for example by me adding a link list to my 1000+ free sites I'm more likly to send them more traffic that I will get from them. So what's the point? Free sites don't need incoming links for SEO, they won't ever score high or get much SE traffic.

This is the amount of traffic my free sites recieved in the last 60 days:

But for a larger volume of free sites it's all about numbers.

Totally agree with you here Bjorn. Free sites would be about volume, as opposed to SERP link value, and quick review/acceptance time, whereas blogs and other type sites would of course like the volume as well but benefit from the SERP value of the links.
