My hubby and I are going on a well deserved vacation to Disney Gay Days this year. I'm a little concerned about leaving my blogs idle for an entire week. I don't think just a week could hurt search engine rank but I wanted to play it safe. Anyone know a good WP plug-in that will auto post? One that I could create posts ahead of time and tell it to post on certain dates.

This is a standard WP feature. When adding a post you can schedule it, so it will be published in the future.
Have a good trip !!

Yes, as Pocoloco said, on the right side of the posting area you'll see "Publish immediately," simply click the edit button and you can schedule the post to publish whenever you want.
-Good to know Disney still has "Gay Days"
-Hope your trip will be fun, Northstar!
-Hope your trip is/was relaxing and fun, Dennis. :)
-Glad this was explained, thanks Dennis and Michael. I will make use of it in the future, I am sure.

Thanks for the help. I had no idea this was a built-in feature of WP. Good to know. Has anyone else here been to Disney World "gay days"?

I wouldn't worry about going away for a week. Nothing will happen, you'll be fine! But yes as mentioned there is a build-in feature in wordpress to schedule posts.

Just remember that after you set the date/time and hit the "OK" button, you still have to hit that "SCHEDULE" button, too. Of course, I found that out the hard way.

When I go on vacation, I do blog posts about my vacation.
Here's me telling my readers I'm going on vacation and driving down the coast to the resort... (http://www.gaydailyhot.com/2010/03/my-trip-to-island-house.html)
Here's my "Having fun, wish you were here" post. (http://www.gaydailyhot.com/2010/03/having-fun-wish-you-were-here.html)
And here's my "thanks for letting me take a couple days off" post. (http://www.gaydailyhot.com/2010/03/thanks-guys.html)
Gives your blog a really personal touch and not only do readers like it, it makes blogging more fun for you too.
