With the very recent upgrade of Wordpress to 2.5, then the sudden URGENT upgrade to 2.5.1.
An article on one of the frequent Wordpress Bloggers gave a brief discourse on blog security, and you know, I wonder if these people have a life?
You gotta read what they suggest on how to keep your blog secure.
