Sponsors with RSS

Are sponsors giving up on RSS? I'm noticing more and more RSS feeds that no longer seem to be updated, even from programs that have large portfolios which I would think had the staffing to keep them updated.

Been wondering the same thing, as some feeds simply don't update, others have just become hit and miss. Wish that sponsors would tell their affiliates, when they are reducing their rss updates, or dropping them.

We are not giving up!!! I just got another 23 RSS feeds prepped for our HunkMoney sites and we are working on redoing the pic-of-the-day feeds to refresh them all. Plus we did just release feeds for all the BritishBucks and LatinoBucks sites.

Yep, a lot of sponsors in different niches gave up on rss feeds and i think such feeds is pretty useful tool.

We did go through a spell in which our RSS was not updated, but we have recently been updating more frequently - check out our RSS affiliate feed. http://www.collegedudes247.com/rss/affiliaterss.rss which is new for our affiliates. Our Badpuppy RSS feed is updated with every model update, network site update, video review update and more. It's updated daily!

Launched our hosted affiliate blog and RSS feeds 4 months ago www.markwolffblog.com updated twice a week with a new model and text description. Wish i would have added it years ago, one of the most effective and time efficient tools we have added. Our affiliates told us they wanted RSS feeds so we gave it to them. Most of my blog webmaster seem to be using them.

Our feeds are updated when our sites are, or when we add new videos to NATS. We also have morphing RSS, which means your post will never be the same as anyone elses; eliminating the google 'penalty' for duplicate content.
