Does anyone have any data or feedback on which CCBill payment pages layout style works best for conversions?
I recently changed the color on my join pages and the layout style and noticed that the conversion seems to have been a little better. Not sure if it was the color or the layout change but it prompted the question as to whether anyone had ever done any testing on this ... and if so .. would share it on the forum.

I think its good with simple colors and less information asked from the customer to type in.

I would personally like more flexibility in the design and layout of CCBILL join page. It's kinda strict.

I agree - the templates in the system do have their limitations - so, we did create the option for you to customize your payment and confirmation pages - to essentially design them yourself...
We have some card/banking parameters that you need to comply with, but there is a lot of flexibility.

If you want to start the process - contact the Client Support Team and they can send you the templates. clientsupport at ccbill.com
my two cents: keep 'em simple, branded and inline...

It would be interesting to see data along those lines, to know what is tweaking the surfer to make that final decision.

Be nice if ccBill could collect the raw data on that too, to show it as an overall average. And yeah I know, things like type of site etc etc play a part, but still, be interesting to know which join page sells more than the others, even in a ballpark number whistle

Woof! The pre-join page and the join page are two very important pages and are worthy of some AB testing to get conversions in line.
1. I would never use CCbill's default pre-join page. Quite a few sites use that with no changes at all. You can make a better sale customizing your own.
2. I would try a two part join page. A few webmasters that I know do very well having some information to submit on every page of their tour. (I read somewhere that surfers have a negative reaction to submit buttons and the less information they have to submit the more comfortable they are until they trust you that the submit button works. This was from a mainstream site on landing page optimization.)
3. Certain colors signify trust.
4. Keep the join page simple. The least information they have to submit the better you are. (Another reason I like two part join pages.)
Changing the pre-join and join pages could very well be an easy way to increase conversions and fits in well with AB testing as the data you get is easy and fast to measure and change.

p.s. Also play with what membership option you WANT surfers to make and push that on both the pre-join and the join page. If you really do a good job at suggesting / selling something to a surfer there is a good chance they may take you up on it.
