Hey all
I'm a bit of a n00b and I'm looking to set something up with customizable content like AEBN.
I've tried AEBN first but I can't get the hang of it. No stats are registering even though I know there's reasonable traffic.
Can't find any info on the problem and their "support" is crap.
So I'm looking for another like AEBN that others are happy with.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

AEBN sucks big hairy balls when it comes to stats and reporting, and they don't seem too interested in fixing it. We've complained enough about it. Sureflix (http://maleflixxx.tv/tools/Frame.asp) has awesome stats, even lets you work with customized promo codes.

Moviedollars is what people seem to be increasingly using - I know Bjorn does with Best Male Blogs, and I do with Gay Porn Pig.. They will also make you pretty good looking theatres, better than AEBN's attempts I often find - and they will payout via epassporte which is also a plus :)

Find out who your rep is. If you can't get ahold of anyone at AEBN talk to Ana. Ana (at) Aebn.net. She's the supervisor of the affiliate and studio teams. She'll help you. She's awesome at showing promo tools.
We go about every 4 months to AEBN and take them out to lunch, visit, etc. Wonderful guys.
As for another.... Hot Movies does build you customizable vod sites using a domain.
MaleFlixxx creates white label and so does gamelink.
Dog Gone Video, the setup is the same way with AEBN.
If I can think of any others, I'll do a bump to the thread.

Ana can only do so much. When I talked to her about the stats problem, she just shrugged her shoulders. Why does a multi-million dollar company like AEBN who is swallowing up one studio after another not have an upfront and detailed stats program? What the hell have I sold? Who is buying what?
Why is that too much to ask for?

We support AEBN very much. We work extremely close with them on many venues, not just as a producer or affiliate. Before I say this, I am one who is all for AEBN and their continued VOD (only vod) growth.
Their stats do suck! Very much! Unfortunately, after Trevor's absence (Trevor was our rep) things have gone downhill and even disturbing. Trevor always took very good care of our accounts. Every month, he would email us detailed reports - what movie sold what as in price, he sent us reports that the stats area couldn't tell you.
Their stats area does suck.
I'm not accusing you... but that just doesn't sound like Ana. But I've never had dealings with her on that aspect.
The problem with them, they are so big and "powerful" they (they = overall) really don't care what problems one may have. They care about collecting the money and studios continuing their shipments, etc.

Hey Guys, Did you see the Campaign stats we added earlier this year? Here's a link to the guide http://blog.aebn.net/2010/02-04/aebn-guide-affiliate-campaigns/ you can add campaign tracking to any link, tool, or theater and get additional stats. You can also add your Google analytics code to any theater for more detailed reporting. I hope this helps!

Thanks for all the help guys. As I'm new to all this I thought it was something I messed up. But I'm quite savvy with this kind of stuff, and I'm not afraid of trying to fix things myself and exploring. Nothing was working and their response to info or help was a big fat ZERO!
I then found vodmoney, but their layout and appearance is generally pants. And then after only a day they messed up my account and I couldn't log in. They did get back to me but only to argue that I wasn't using the correct password, when actually I was and their system was messed up, which they then fixed.
I'll take a look at those others. Really not happy with either of the ones I've tried so far.
If they can't get the basics right, how do I know they're paying me what they say they will?

I certainly feel your pains :)
Reliable companies that we've had a repor with years are:
AEBN
Hot Movies
GameLink
and a couple others that I can't think off hand.
Stay clear of XonDemand, they haven't been paying anyone studios or affiliates for months. They owe us funds for a period of 14 months of earnings, we had to get a lawyer involved and a step away in court just to get them to remove our titles. They still owe us a little over $9k to this date.
