I was just curious what you do with affiliates you can not contact.
I sent an email the other day to all my affiliates, and about 17 emails bounced back. Of that, I was able to contact 10 of them via other means, ICQ, the boards, etc. but 7 of them do not have valid email or valid websites that I can tell.
Of these 7, none of them have sent sales in the last 150 days, but a 2 do have rebills coming in each month.
Just curious what you would do in this situation, or what you think is fair.
Thanks in advance.

I think you just have to leave them. If you cut them off, you'll be blamed on the boards for stealing their traffic.
Even CCBill doesn't delete affiliate accounts. You can e-mail them and ask to have a site removed from your affiliate account, they'll remove it from your listing of sites, but it's still not deleted.
Is it a big deal to keep them?

Is it a big deal to keep them?
Not at all, I just was not sure what other programs do.
It bothers me slightly, since I can not alert them to changes in the program, or terms of service, etc. but from what I can tell, they are not actively promoting me so it should not be a big deal, but if I wanted to talk to them I could not.
Just take them off your mailing list. Otherwise, what's the harm just leaving their account as is?

Thanks for that link Seth. Basically the exact same problem I am having.
I emailed CCBill to see if there is a way to just take them out of my email list.
Thanks.

Or manage your own list and gain a lot more control:

And ultimately, it's up to the affiliate to keep their contact info up to date. If they don't, too bad, they lose. It's not your fault.

CCBill response via email to me:
"Thank you for contacting client support. Only the affiliates can update their information within the affiliate admin. You can remove them from the program if you're unable to contact them, but there's no way to alter their info.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us."
So I guess that about sums it up.
I use CCBill so that I do not have to update or keep my own lists. ;O)
So, when I update I guess it is their loss.
