When you compose a collage of sponsor content, do you leave the logo on the pic? Or do you resize the pic and crop the sponsor logo out?

In my opinion you need to leave in atleast one watermark per image / collage you create.

Some sponsors specifically state in their affiliate TOS that you CAN"T crop out watermarks.

A few put crazy huge watermaks on affiliate content that are 3 - 4 times the size of what is actually used on the site.
Not really sure how that helps to make sales and it makes the pictures ugly IMO.

As Bjorn said, try to leave at least 1 watermark but I'd check with the sponsor to be sure.

WOW, I had no idea. I've been cropping them out. Do you think I should go back and re-crop all of those postings I've done?

I've been cropping out the watermarks aside from one image in my collages for a few years now and I've never had any issues with a sponsor. Then again, I speak with the owners and affiliate managers of the sites I promote on a regular basis. Which is something I recommend you do in order to find out where they're at with this kind of thing Terrytowel. It will also help you sell them better. If you see an ICQ number in a sponsor's signature, add them to your contacts and say hello. Feel free to ask some questions and pick their brains about tips on selling their content. Most are very happy to help out an affiliate. At least from my perspective anyway. Just...try not to drive people too crazy with questions. LOL. Write down everything you think might be relevant and give it a try.

If you don't use ICQ, I suggest you start Terrytowel. It's a great way to network with others in the industry.

My 2 cents

I usually crop out the watermark unless it destroys the best part of the image. I've had sponsors who go over the top to say not to crop say what I do is fine...
