On my site members can leave pre-written messages in each others guestbooks, like Youre Handsome, Youre Hot, I Like You, Slurp!.
Etc
So sometimes when im on my site I see a guy I like and will sign Youre Handsome on his guestbook.
But is that bad taste or bad business to do since I run the site? I mean to acknowledge a few people here and there and not the other people on?

It is can be construed that you are hitting on them it would be in bad taste. "Thanks for joining us" or a positive response to something would be fine. If only 'hook-up' type comments are available, then I would refrain totally.

Thanks, appreciate your honesty. I didnt realize that it would look bad until it just hit me now lol
My partner & I used to run a hookup site called WorldWideHookup.com. As admin I would do as Alex suggested and thank them for joining and offer assistance, etc.
I did however have another login that was just for fun and that's where I would try to keep it.

I would put messages like that under different logins like Seth does. I fake blog comments to get the discussion started so I don't see that as any different.
