I have a friend who is trying to help out a coke-addict friend of hers. He's trying to clean up his life and I'm guessing that surfing for porn leads him to want to do coke; so he's requesting that my friend install some porn blocking software on his site.

What software is good for this kind of thing?

He's requesting that someone install something on a site that prevents him from surfing it? I suppose if you want to block an IP that's possible, but shouldn't he be installing something like NetNanny on his own machine?

He wants something installed on his computer to prevent him access to gay porn sites.

Thanks. I did eventually just google it and then found something. Then I thought, "Duh ... what about Net Nanny and all those similar softwares I constantly see at the bottom of sites." I guess my brain just wasn't working, but I also perceived those software packs to be limiting, like you ban the word "gay" and forget about the context.

Anyway, no worries. I sent off a couple of suggestions.
