I donīt know if anyone of you guys is promoting Citebeur, the French studio from Paris featuring French Arab guys, Blacks and so on.

I have to say that I really like their content and they built up quite a nice network of sites over the past few years. They also have an affiliate program at citebeur.net

However, although I am promoting them for half a year now, I havenīt made sale yet. Their tracking system is complicated and they say their program automatically tracks the url that a customer was sent from and gives credits to that webmaster.

Accoridng to their stats I have sent them 12 visitors since I started promoting their porgram... Which is hard to believe.

Next problem: the visitors can only watch single scenes and have to buy a certain amount of tickets to pay for a scene.

So basically my questions is, are you promoting citebeur? Does it work for you?

Which kind of leads me to another question. If there are any French webmasters here. Can you explain me why the French kind of cut themselves off the great World Wide Web? I have the impression they are doing their own little thing there, with their membersites having these ticket systems or using allopass which I still can figure out...

If citebeur had a site like Belami I am sure we all could send them lots of signups. Cadinot just has their own VOD and Onlineshop and no affiliate program at all. Clair productions is the same sad story.

It always makes me sad when I see great porn but donīt find a way to promote it...

I looked at them just the other day, but their promo content isn't great and I was very confused about how to promote them. In the end, I just said, "Too much work," and moved on.

Over 2009, my ratio is 1:987 uniques - average per sale is only $6,48.

When I first started promoting Citebeur, I did some tests and I am pretty sure that the hits were not counted. Once you use their other linking option, you will see hits in your stats.

My advice is to use the linking codes that do have a build in tracking code and don't rely on their automatic tracking software.

I totally get your point, Michael. I mean they have some really hot flash banners and sometimes send out emails to affilates with promo content which is quite hot as well.

But still, no sales...
