Security seems to be a mantra these days, thanks to the hackers and spam artists out there. I mean hell, I got over 500 stupid emails for rolex watches this morning alone, plus my host is in the midst of some major security upgrade, thanks to some software hole on their server.

Here are two helpful links, for adding some security to your wordpress blog.

Top Security & Protection Plugins (http://speckyboy.com/2008/04/08/top-10-security-and-protection-plugins-for-wordpress/).

There are some interesting plugins listed, like the two different backup plugins. Worth a quick glance over.

Harding Wordpress (http://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress).

Now this is basically just discussing what measures one should take for protecting their Wordpress Blog. It is pretty basic, common sense, but I have to admit, there are few things mentioned I forgot about, or simply didn't bother with.

Can't make any money off the blog, if its been hacked, gets corrupted, or whatever.
