I only have a couple, but I can see how quickly they can grow. Out of curiosity, how many blogs do you manage? Also, how many of them are unique (as opposed to publishing same content under different name).

I think maybe mods should merge the threads then?
I think I'm at over 250 by now. I hire a writer and then re-hash posts across my blogs.
My situation is different than anyone posting so far. Who knows who is reading these posts and learning how to get into this biz. For those novices like me out there, I'd say start with one. I was given this advice a few times but thought I could at least have 3 to start. One feels much better to focus on and learn the gist of it. I definitely plan on doing more and have already them on the back-burners.

I started out with 1 blog for about a year and built that up a fair amount in that time. It's done well, but is multi-niche. I've slowly built up to 9 blogs, with the remaining 8 focusing on 1 niche. They've done better as far as sales are concerned than the multi-niche blog. That's one thing I found personally about running and using a blog a sales tool anyway.
