Gathering opinions for Authentic Footballers

Hi, everyone.

Our site, Authentic Footballers, www.authenticfootballers.com, is working on a kind of relaunching for next january. We rented a new studio, so now scenary will be much better and look more professional. Though basic content will remain the same (real latin footballers naked and jerking off) we'll change some parts of the script and introduce new scenes. It's just a matter of refreshing the content before customers (and ourselves) get bored.

So this relaunching is a good opportunity to see how our affiliates see us after four years of working together. Since we'll carry out a kind of relaunching, all your opinions about the tour, the contents, frequency of updates, pricing or whatever you'd like to say will be taken into account.

i'd like to see full videos rather than clips focusing on various activities. to me, a full scene can hold the interest better. you could always have clips as well.

also like to see less intrusive watermarks on the pics. some of the pics have the watermark covering the models' cocks, and if i paid for a membership, i would expect to see the full dick in every pic where it was shown.

btw, i think your models are absolutely perfect, and there's nothing wrong with the real amateur feel of the videos.

while i understand your desire to protect your content with DRM, there are tons of latin sites out there that give DRM-free videos. that will have to put a dent in your retention, so i'd be careful in the tour and member area to make a point out of the fact that many of the guys are professional footballers - the types of guys you can't see on other sites. that way, you make it clear that despite the fact that the videos use DRM, there is something different about the site.

adding streaming flash videos may be a good move as people are growing very used to them and it will allow mac and linux users who can't watch the DRMed WMVs to watch your videos without saving them.

Hi, Basschick, thanks a lot for your constructive comments.

- We'll be increasing the size of the pics and at that same time we'll change the placement of the watermark

- Full scene videos ... why not? I guess we'll implement that option too. It will increase bandwidth costs, but it probably worths it.

- We are finding out about a drm from adobe that's mac compatible. We'll try to implement it. We continuously receive complaints from mac users who can't join our site because of drm. We estimate that through this solution we could sell an extra 10%, the problem is that we would need to recode the already published vids.

I signed up for you program a few years ago, but can't promote it since I don't have any promo materials (pics, videos).

Can you provide your affiliates with promo materials? Sending email updates for example? Or providing webmasters with the access to the site.

Ok...so every time I try to see the site I am redirected to Sean Cody.

I am assuming that is because I am in located in Argentina and I am further assuming that the models are shot in Argentina and that is part of the deal...

Is that correct?

It appears that, besides the contents issues indicated by Basschick, we need to improve somehow the promo material availability.

Ben, let me know which are your sites, we can eventually issue a temporary free user for you.

MiamiBoyz, we do use geoip, for a number of purposes, including discouraging visits from some countries related to the models and also countries with high tradition of piracy and low sales, such as China. We are sure that volume is not affected at all, in fact before we set the geo ip sales in those countries, sales tend to zero anyway.

Getting back to promo material: I've many times thought of sending a weekly e mail to my affiliates with promo stuff of that week's update, would that be useful?

a weekly email would definitely be useful as long as the pics / videos were good and big enough.
