So I recently updated my blasted WP blogs, and I noticed on a couple, that the permalink structure had been altered. Now that really ticked me off :grrr: and then I started looking more closely at them.
I notice that they use the category slug, if you have that added into your structure, and it was a mess. So today I am altering the structures, to be cleaner, but I wonder, how many of you check the structures?
Example, I had gay-fiction.com/reading/gay-sex-books/gay-romance-novels/chapter/
I mean that sucked, and I noticed that it was due to the 'category slug' option where it was all coming from. So I changed the category slugs, from gay-sex-books to books and gay-romance-novels to romance.
Now the link structure looks like
gay-fiction.com/reading/books/romance/chapter/
I guess the point here is, how much care do you take in designing the category slugs, and linking structure on your blogs?
