For the past few weeks I've been getting ping backs from blogs like this - http://free-twink-pics.eu/?p=1667 - and I can't figure out why someone would link to my posts from their own blog. Is this for SEO and PR purposes? I do have a higher rank than that blog does. I can't figure this out. I can't really complain so-to-speak, as at least they're linking to my posts and not stealing them. LOL. The link to my post I'm referring to is Today post is from here. Visit the link to read more. You'll have to catch the link on October 10th I would imagine, as he probably changes them every day.

Thoughts on this?

Thanks:cool:

Not sure. Maybe one of the blog experts will fill us both in.

I started turning pinging off a few months ago because someone else was doing that same thing to me and I was sick of getting the comments every day from their blog.

I love the first post (October 9) on the blog you listed though. :)

some people blog for the fun of it and link to other blogs that they think are hot. Other people are playing games, like backloading their blog with posts ripped from other blogs, then linking to those blogs from high PR sites in an effort to steal keyword rankings. I suspect in this case, its the second thing that they are trying to accomplish, as all the older posts are dated 1969

Really? I had a suspicion this had to do with SEO. I mean, why else would they be doing it and yes, I noticed the date too. Those posts are almost as old as me! LOL. Crap, now I just dated myself:rolleyes:

I guess it's hard to imagine people blogging adult content for fun, as we all do it take make money. However, I can see how some people love porn so much they would do it.

I may want to block this pingbacker's IP address and stop him from leaching off my PR's.

Thanks Luke:cool:
