Is it possible to obtain some promo content (pics or videos) for this site? The guys look great and should sell well, but I can't do much if I don't have any promo content.

There are some rather long preview videos on the site, but they are censored. So I don't think they are usable for the site promotion.

I think I tried to contact their webmaster several times over the years, but no luck.

i tried to contact them repeatedly over the years from more than 1 email address, but never heard back, either.

That's really a shame. Very nice guys (in fact apart from Sean Cody they are among the rare that truly look straight to me)...

What's the point in opening an affiliate program when you don't intend to work with your affiliates?

I've tried many times over the years but never managed to get hold of them. I don't think anyone got access to any promo material, at least never seen any used.

It's too bad really, great content.

I've done some in the past:

New Blog (http://www.guysonvideo.com/2009/08/23/college-roommates-take-a-tropical-vacation/)
Old Blog (http://www.guysonvideo.com/blog/?s=straight+college+men)

It did sell OK. It's kind of a lot of work though gathering the makeshift promo stuff yourself though.

just wanted to remind people who might try the same that it is always possible you can be fired from a program or even c&d'ed by harvesting and using content without permission from the program.

And to that I say, fine. If a program 100% ignores it's affiliates requests, which basically sends a message that they don't care about their affiliate program, then whatever...

Truth be told, I should have fired them for not even having the courtesy to reply. If they in turn want to suspend my affiliate account or c&d me for sending them traffic and sales, I really don't give a rats ass.

If they asked me to take it down, of course I would do so immediately. However, I've never heard a peep from them and from the sounds of it, nobody else has either.

i agree wtih your comments here - and considering their communication, it would be astounding if you heard from them about anything :D

that being said, some webmasters who read this thread might think it's okay to harvest content, so i do like to let those who need to know that sometimes harvesting content without permission can have consequences.

i doubt any of us will be hearing from them - not a peep - but some people who can't be bothered to drop a line to affiliates could conceivably hire someone to keep their content from being used.

I tried to 'friend' the webmaster of SCM on Facebook. He rejected me as a friend.
