Your worst WP upgrade experience

I know that a lot of us have to upgrade Wordpress on a continuous basis. The more you have to do it, the more you become accustomed to doing it. There was a time though where upgrades weren't so "easy" and things happen...

So what was your worst experience after an upgrade. Were you able to rectify the situation ok?

after upgrading to the new layout a few versions ago, I could not access any of my links because I had the old wp "quick links" plugin installed...that sucked.

Yes, I bet it did suck. I've been using html links specifically for the last few versions in order to avoid issues like that. I too had a problem a while back that way and never want to have to hunt down 100+ links again. LOL.

My worst was having to upgrade 70 installations in a few days, following the last big security issue. There were not technical difficulties, but it was just so boring!
